Your family's data, kept small

Last updated 30 September 2026

The short version

Bip has no ads and no tracking, and we never sell data. We ask for as little as we can, and we delete it when you ask.

On this website

When you sign up for the free course or the waiting list we store your email address, your child's age if you choose to give it (never a name), which page you signed up on, your language, and whether you asked for our monthly email and when.

We use your email to send the course, to tell you when the Bip app launches and, only if you ticked the box, to send the monthly email. Every email has an unsubscribe link.

Sign-ups are stored with our website host (Vercel) and database provider (Neon). We don't use advertising or tracking cookies. If you pick a language with the language switcher, we remember it in one small cookie so the site opens in that language next time.

In the Bip app

Your child's lessons, stars and creations stay on their device.

If you connect a parent phone and a child phone, the phones share settings and totals (coins, game minutes, chores, what's being played) through Google Firebase, stored in Europe. Each phone signs in anonymously: no names, emails or photos are needed.

The optional AI helper in creative lessons sends only what your child types there to our AI provider (Anthropic) to suggest ideas. We don't store that text, and you can switch the helper off in the parent settings.

The app has no ads and no analytics or advertising SDKs. Apple's Screen Time keeps the list of apps your child uses private, even from us.

Children

This website is for parents. We don't knowingly collect information from children here. In the app, a parent sets it up and controls what is shared.
